HARBOURS JOIN THE POLITICAL STRIKE IN FINLAND 14. – 17.2.2024
The Finnish Transport Workers’ Union “AKT” will participate in the political strike in
harbours this week. The strike will start from Wed 14.2. at 06.00 and end on Sat 17.2. at
06.00.
The strike will stop the harbour activities as only trailer with driver can entry to the vessel.
Normal “loose trailer” is not an option during the strike. The strike will cause capacity
limitations, schedule and lead time alterations, ferry cancellations and strike surcharges.
Please note that there is a ferry capacity shortage during 12.2. – 23.2.2024.
We regret the inconvenience caused by the strike, but NCS will use all the routings
available. Unfortunately, alternative measures and routings cause extra costs.
